A fun new make-up range, two years in the making, is set to launch worldwide on July 21.
I was treated to an early peek at Lush’s Emotional Brilliance collection – consisting of 30 products – designed to match your psychological needs to the colour cosmetics you should be wearing.
Each Lush store across the globe will have an Emotional Colour Brilliance Wheel where you can get your own personalised colour reading (pick three colours that stand out to you – each colour has a corresponding word that reveals something about your current state of mind).
Lush co-founder and the brains behind Emotional Brilliance Rowena Bird explained: “I love lipstick, but why wasn’t one great colour ever enough? After chatting with like minded lipstick junkies it struck us that it wasn’t about what clothes we were wearing but more about how we were feeling and so the idea was born.”
Having chosen your colour they can be a liquid eyeliner, a liquid lipsick or a cream eyeshadow. And to accompany the colour delights Lush are also launching their first mascara, £12, translucent face powder, £12, and skin tints, £12 each.
So ladies. Make a note in your diary. July 21. Lush day.
