WHAT: On Your Marks An exhibition by artist Zanny Mellor to celebrate The Olympics. Her works on canvas focus on the architecture and graphic language of the Olympic stadium, velodrome and aquatics centre, as well as the energy of the athletes.

WHAT: Steptoe & Son A co-production by Kneehigh and West Yorkshire Playhouse. Adapted from the scripts of Galton and Simpson, this is a tale of two men who have been through it all and as a result are as tight as a thrice darned pair of socks.

WHAT: Another London An exhibition of 150 classic 20th century photographs featuring international photographers with London as their subject matter.

WHAT: Film 4 Summer Screen at Somerset House Showcases movies in the open-air setting of the eighteenth-century house's courtyard. Uses state-of-the-art projection onto a 14 metre-wide giant screen. Highlights include UK premieres for On The Road and Lawless and a 'people's premiere' for The Watch.
