Pull on your boots and head up Scafell Pike, England's highest peak, or venture out onto Wastwater in a canoe (not provided, so you'll need to bring your own). Wasdale Head Inn is a short walk from the campsite for a tasty bite to eat.

Price: Tent pitch: From £17 for two nights, Camping pod: From £70 for two nights, Nordic Tipis: from £100 for two nights (2 adults and 2 children).
