I Get By With A Little Help From My Friend
When Angie Baker Stedham's black Labrador, Eddie, went blind his lifelong four legged friend Milo took matters into his own paws. With their leads attached, crossbread terrier Milo, guides Eddie on their walks and as Angie states "helps [her] fetch Eddie when [she]calls him", adding, "Milo really cares for Eddie – he always licks his face, they sleep in the same room and spend all their time together. Without Milo, Eddie would be lost". The pair were inseparable long before he became blind but now "Eddie relies on Milo to help him play and they love going to the woods". How adorable, so not only is a dog a man's best friend, but a dog's best friend too!

Bonnie Tyler Representing UK Eurovision Song 2013
It has been confirmed that "Total Eclipse of The Heart" singer, Bonnie Tyler is to represent Britain in the next Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden. The 61 year old will perform the song, "Believe in Me" in front of around 120 million viewers in May. In her statement, Tyler stated "I promise to give this everything that I've got for the UK, I am truly honoured and delighted to be able to represent my country at Eurovision, and especially with such a fabulous song". The UK has competed in the song contest each year since 1959, winning five times. However, the last time that the UK won it was in 1997 when Katrina and the Waves performed, "Love Shine a Light".

BBC 3 Cuts Frankie Boyle's Sketch From Comic Relief
Frankie Boyle has once again come under fire for his five minute act on "Give It Up for Comic Relief". The comedian's act was cut from the pre-recorded BBC3 broadcast following his cruel jokes about the Royal family and controversial comments about Jimmy Savile. Boyle was only criticised earlier in the week for his tweets that said by joking about the Queen's death would benefit his career. Boyle is becoming rather infamous for his controversial comments, once joking about cancer victim and disabled children. Despite consistent complaints, Boyle does not appear to be toning down his acts, yet seems to revel in his notoriety.

Carrie Fisher To Reprise Role As Princess Leia
A new series of Star Wars films are being planned by Disney and the stars from the original blockbuster films are rumoured to be reprise their roles. When asked if she would be returning to the Star Wars saga, that were filmed between 1977 and 1983, Fisher simply stated and joked, " an intergalactic old folks' home, I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle". Disney confirmed in February that to sit alongside the trilogy, a series of spinoff films are to be created and hinted that they would feature iconic characters such as Darth
Vader, Yoda and Solo.

Southbank To Step Into The Future With Makeover
The Southbank Centre is being catapulted into the 21st century with a £100m transformation to its Festival Wing. Jude Kelly, artistic director and Alan Bishop, chief executive, described the overhaul as the centre's "biggest step forward since the 60's". Initial redesigns to the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Hayward Gallery and the Purcell Room include a "floating" glass pavilion, two roof gardens and outside spaces where riverside arts can take place together with service roads being converted into pedestrian areas. Kelly stated, "If we get this right, we're not just doing it for now but we have to be thinking what will this site will mean in 25 years". The ever popular cultural venue will no doubt attract further visitors to the centre and cement its position as one of the best cultural hubs in the country.
