1970s Issue of Cosmopolitan provides further Dating Tips
Following last week's uncovered Woman's Own issue providing dating tips from a 1950s issue, Cosmopolitan have raided their own archives to find tips from the 1970s. Hilariously the article that has come to light is called "Things to do with your hands" and departs a little from the advice from Woman's Own. Nevertheless, we should "section his grapefruit", "light a candle next to his bed", "tuck your scented handkerchief under his pillow", "shake hands with his ex wife" and "unpack his bags after a trip", amongst many many more.

Sasha, the four year old golden Labrador, has been awarded the PDSA Dickin Medal. Alongside her handler, Lance Corporal Kenneth Rowe, Sasha died in an ambushed Taliban attack in 2008. Trained to hunt out improvised explosive devices and weapons, Sasha is credited with saving scores of lives, and the combination of her and L/Cpl Rowe was considered one of the best in the region. Sasha is the 65th Animal to receive the award since its inception in 1943.

Bear Grylls: Men are struggling with masculinity
Famed for his hardy outdoor pursuits and displays of undoubtable masculinity, the TV presenter believes "men really struggle nowadays with what it means to be a man". Grylls is launching a new television show later this year to recapture Britain's lost manliness. The "hunter-gather" skills that Grylls believes are absent, or at least dormant, in the modern man will be put to the ultimate test as competitors will be required to find fresh water, build shelters and catch their own food including some seriously deadly creatures.
