Duchess of Cambridge voted "fairest of them all"
By Katy Pearson
The Duchess of Cambridge has been crowned the fairest of them all by more than half the nation (59%). The survey out today, coinciding with the Blu-ray and DVD release of this year’s most talked about film Snow White & The Huntsman, sees Catherine beat sportswomen, politicians, presenters and actresses.
More than half of Brits questioned (59%) said Catherine epitomises the classic Snow White character by possessing true beauty, both inside and out.
Snow White & The Huntsman’s star Kristen Stewart - who actually plays Snow White in this year’s blockbuster fairytale – got only 1% of the votes.
Following closely behind the Duchess of Cambridge, came Olympic gold medallist Jessica Innis and the First Lady Michelle Obama.
When asked what is inner beauty, nearly a quarter of people polled (24%) said compassion was essential for those wanting to nurture their inner Snow White, however almost twice as many men than women thought loyalty was the most desirable virtue to have.
